So I was going to do my top 20 books list, but its so hard! So instead, here is some of what i will include:

* Year of Wonders, Geraldine Brooks
* Tell No One, Harlan Coben
* Across the Nightingale Floor (series), Lian Hearn
* Tomorrow When the War Began (series), John Marsden
* Harry Potter (series), J.K Rowling
* The Lovely Bones, Alice Sebold
* Down Under, Bill Bryson

Its too hard to pick books on the next tier down - my second favourite books. I reread the Tomorrow series over the past week, I just can't believe how good it is. Just phenomenal.

I've read Perfume, by Patrick Suskind and Desert Flower, by Waris Dirie over the past two weeks as well. Perfume is good but a bit slow going (everything is graphically described through the main character's sense of smell) and Desert Flower is one of those "against the odds" biographies. I borrowed them from the library but both are ok for a read if anyone is looking.

I'm part way through Pride and Prejudice (ok but slow), Feral Futures (Tim Flannery, non fiction about introduced species), Collapse (Jared Diamond, non fiction about collapse of communities), and I will start The God of Small Things in the next few days. I'm powering through my reading now that I'm not working or an uni! Having time to read and having books to read are two of my highest priorities!

Everyone is posting about the stuff going on around Cronulla (well Sydney, I guess). I'm not going to just yet but I'm really not very happy about it all.

Oh and operation $ebay$ has begun! See how it goes.

Thats all.
