Ok!
Well Kerryn and I were in the "new" Angus and Robertson in Hurstville yesterday, and we were looking at the Top 100. We are both "readers" and are going to do some book swaps, is anyone interested in joining in? I have a heap of books I am happy to lend out. Please note that I am NOT INTERESTED IN FANTASY!!! If there is a book you like which has an animal or inanimate object which can speak, I don't want to know about it!! This swap is primarily for:
* classics
* literary fiction
* contemporary authors
I will also make a second list of:
* biographies
* environmental/science non fiction
* political books
which I also like, in case anyone is interested in them!
I've bolded what I've read and italicised what I own - so you can swap.

I might write a bit about some of these later. There are a lot I haven't read. Many I don't want to - Bryce Courtenay doesn't do it for me so I won't be reading any of them. Quite a few of these are probably lying around the house. I am about to start Jared Diamond - Collapse: How Societies Choose to Fail or Survive; but when I finish it I will get into fiction, maybe start with Pride & Prejudice then see the movie. I've seen other versions of it before but never read the book. Time to start reading classics!
So ... anyone else inspiried to do a lot of reading? I am going to make my own Top 15/Top 20 sometime, it will look pretty different to that Top 100 I think!
What are you guys all reading?
