Feeding Tube Frenzy
I'm am getting so sick of this Feeding Tube bullshit and the lack of living wills. I'm not even going to mention any names because if I dare utter such ugly words, I fear my voice box would instantly spring loose from my throat and hop away to start a new life where stupid things are said over and over. Plain and simple, unless you have your wishes in writing, so specific that you request a certain shade on the walls of your room and how nurse Rachet is going to give you a spoonge bath, people are going to say things are going against your wishes. But even then, doctors have the final say in pulling the plug, not only because they fear malpractice lawsuits from you money sucking wastes of space, but there is also the problem of that chance of recovering.
Just because you request it doesn't always mean it's going to happen. Mostly like dealing with the DMV considering you ask for anything of those stubborn and miserable shells of people, and they will laugh in your face. Life isn't very fair, Death it seems, is just as fucking bad with how these people are bickering over her wishes. If she wants to live, well tough shit. There are plenty of kids in third would countries who want to live and are dying of starvation against their wishes. I don't see Jeb Bush or the protesters outside trying to give them their communion wafer.
Since I'm on this media rant, I have to address another little problem I seem to have. I don't give two shits and a half about Michael Jackson and how he, more then likely, molested a couple boys. The fact that CNN, MSNBC, fuck I hate to admit I watch it, but Fox News is covering it like pubic lice on my roomates crotch says to me that the end of times is neigh. There should be no other reason why so many cameras are focused on this shit unless the results of the trail decide the fate of each and everyone of our poor and flithy souls. Though, I have yet to witness the Rapture, so that must not be the reason.
That being the case, they should turn off their cameras and cover something else I might find mildly amusing. Like maybe how some darwin award winner got his head chopped off. Or better yet, something that might inform me like the progress of science and new technologies. Or how about what actually happened with the 8.7 earthquake that barely made a blip in the constant tele-cast now filled with sound bytes and images of rubble instead of actual information. People wonder why the masses are so fucking dumb. I really don't think I need to say why.
