A small, morbidly curious part of him wants to check out his room, because he knows Bel has done something to it...but that can wait. Right now, pummeling the brat has top priority, and he thunders down the stairs after him.]

[he was betting on squalo being shrewd enough to check his room but he knew better than to rely on things like predictability when it came to the violent mess of teeth and curses. he intents to lock himself in the bathroom until squalo calms down (aka until half past never), so that's precisely where he's headed as he sprints down the hall.]
