When Oliver had woken up this morning, he was tired. Exhausted really. And he'd run out. No, he didn't tell Brianna about this particular little episode. He hadn't told Bryce. He hadn't told anyone, and he didn't plan on it. It wasn't anything to worry over anyway. Some people drank on their own in the privacy of their own home, and he was just after a different sort of buzz. He was entitled if he so chose.
But when it was gone and sleep hit finally, anxiety gone and replaced instead with exhaustion and a hangover, he needed something. Unfortunately, he couldn't get a hold of his supplier, and the only other thing he could think of was caffeine--the next best thing and a poor substitute but that was all

Mara had just finished placing her order when she heard someone call her name. She turned to see a familiar face, but the guys name was completely evading her. She never was too good with names, but she did recall that this was the guy with the 'not-so-ostentatious' Ferrari 360.
"I've been doing well. I'm sorry...you'll have to forgive my bad memory, I can't quite remember your name. Honestly, I just remember the kind of car you have." He smirked and moved away from the counter so anyone else could place their order. "I feel a bit bad because you seemed to have remembered my name."
"Oliver," he answered, removing his sunglasses, but squinting a little and rubbing the bridge of his nose. "And no worries. I think my car's more memorable than I am anyway," he added with a little grin. "Least I know who to take it to if I need it worked on.
Hey, listen. You're quite a good musician and you seem to have the right equipment. Where's a good place to shop around here for instruments? I'm going in LA soon, but I know I'll need more pieces the longer I'm here, and I figured you'd know where to go."
Mara rolled her eyes a little bit. "I always find cars more memorable than the people who drive them," she admitted, pushing her hair behind her ear.
"As for music equipment, I went to Kennelly Keys. There's a store located on Aurora Avenue, and they carry just about everything music related. It's a pretty nice place...and it's closer than L.A."
"Yeah? Well, thanks for the info, I definitely appreciate it," he nodded. "I'll have to go check it out there sometime. I'm in dire need to start working again, I think."
"Starting work again? Well, if you need someone to sing a duet with...look me up," she said with a wink before find a place to sit. Almost as soon as she sat down, someone brought out her food and drink.
"Yeah, I'm getting a little stir-crazy. I knew I would, I guess. But yeah, I'm always up for collaborations, so I'd love to get in touch with you. I'll keep you posted," he said before she headed off to find her seat and he placed his order for his much-needed double espresso.
