The text and the phone call had caused a permanent smile to be on Oliver's face for the whole day. He was so happy about having a boyfriend, especially one that called him to wish him Happy Birthday and was planning something special for the evening. He was jittery all day in anticipation for the evening he was going to spend with Bryce that he practically bolted out of his cubicle when 5 o'clock rolled around and he could finally leave. He went home and changed into a nice navy dress shirt and slacks before he headed over to Bryce's place, calling him on the way there, and then buzzed himself in. A hand went through his hair as he went to Bryce's door and knocked before turning the knob and sticking his head in, "Honey, I'm home."

Bryce had been about to put the steaks into the oven when he heard the knock on his door, shortly followed by Nash's voice. He left the steaks on the counter, and walked out to see his boyfriend, smiling. "I could get used to hearing that," he teased, as he walked up to Nash and wrapped his arms around the man's neck and gave him a deep, passionate kiss. "Happy Birthday," he muttered after he pulled away. "Dinner is about to go into the oven," he said as he walked back towards the kitchen, "I hope you like steak and mashed potatoes." He was almost gone from the hallway when he stopped, "Oh...would you like some red wine? I bought it just for today."

Bryce's reaction was the cutest thing and he couldn't help but grin as he returned the passionate kiss, he enjoyed saying the greeting as well, it was so nice to be able to have someone to come home to even if they didn't live together. "Thank you, dear," He answered with a soft chuckle and then followed behind him, "Steak and mashed potatoes sound fantastic, I can't believe you're making me dinner. I lucked out with a great boyfriend, didn't I? And I would love some wine."

Bryce blushed at the compliment, and that Nash called him his boyfriend. It was even better to hear, he thought to himself as he grabbed a couple of wine glass from his cabinet. "You deserve a good boyfriend," he answered, as he poured Nash a glass of wine. He then handed it over, "There you go. You can have a seat at the table," he said gesturing to the nearby table. "I still need to put the steaks in the oven, and then it will be about half an hour till they're ready. I hope that you like your steak well done." He smiled and then put the steak in and set the timer. The potatoes were already done, and just on the stove keeping warm, along with the gravy.

Afterward, he got himself a glass of wine and took a seat at the table. "How was your day?" he asked, before taking a sip.
