Why: Because he promised her a date, and she's more than willing to make the time for him.
Checking herself in the reflection of the glass door one last time, Amara slipped through quickly out of the cold night air. Breathing in the warmth, she scanned the room to see if Tanner had beaten her there, but unable to spot him she stepped around various tables until she found an empty booth towards the back of the Cafe. Shrugging off her coat she slipped into the booth and pulled the drinks menu towards her, wondering momentarily if it would be rude to order something before Tanner came.
She'd been thinking about this day for a while now, wondering if, in her sober state, she'd still find herself attracted to Tanner. Amara had thought about him a fair bit since their night together, perhaps because she hadn't found the time to go on a second man hunt, or perhaps because she really was that attracted to him. And while nerves weren't usually her style, there had been a few butterflied filled moments during the day, and as she sat waiting patiently for him to arrive, she couldn't help but feel the nerves returning.
