Anne just listened quietly, nodding here and there. Gina seemed really excited about this. "Nope, I'll wax." She followed the younger girl and took a sit. "Busy. Whenever I'm not in college having class or studying something like Statistical Applications and Quantitative Methods in the library, hanging out at Torrent. Basically that. And you?"

Gina shook her head, she had thought Anne would do the wax. "I haven't been too busy. School three days a week, and working at Torrents, nothing to call home about," she laughed. Like she would call home about anything. "Statistical applications and quantitative methods, ah... okay," she chuckled and rubbed her hand on the back of her neck. "So you have been fitting in and making friends, then?"

"I know, call me a nerd." Anne tilted her head adorably. "MBA makes me feel like a complete geek."

"I don't know about that." She thought for a second. "I'm trying; I've already met a few people and it's no secret I'm generally quite outgoing. Let's see where things goes." The older woman explained. "And what about that roommate of yours? Troy?"

"As it rightly should," Gina tried to keep a serious face, then busted out laughing. "Well, if you are a geek, at least you are a fun and cool geek." She smiled at her friend.

"Well, at least you are getting out there," she crinkled her brow a bit. "I haven't made many girl friends, really. Actually you are the only one I've hung out with," she said, shrugging her shoulders. Obviously either the girls around heer didn't like her, or Gina was keeping her distance. She wasn't for sure what. At the mention of Troy's name she blushed and ducked her head, "Troy is doing fine. Things are good."

Anne laughed with Gina. "Yeah, I'm a very hip nerd." She made a funny face. "I hide my geekness pretty well."

"Lord knows I'd get crazy if I stayed the entire time in my loft. It's too big, too oppressing sometimes." Anne smiled softly at her friend. "And I'm here for that, okay." She squeezed Gina's hand briefly. "Hm, and the blushing means things are really good." The older woman laughed.

Gina giggled at her friend, and shook her head, "Yes, I think you hide it very well." She patted Anne's hand when the girl squeezed the other, "I'm glad for that. It's nice to have a girl to hang out with." Moving a piece of hair out of her eyes she nodded. "Yeah, they are really good," she lowered her voice to a whisper, "I really like him, and enjoy his company." She ducked her head, this was rather new to her, to actually have feelings for a guy, and she rather liked it.

"What about you? Anyone you have your eyes set on?" She raised an eyebrow at the girl and laughed.

Anne smiled softly at Gina words. "Tell me, have you ever been in love? And was reciprocated?" She crossed her legs and continued. "I can just hope he's good to you."

"Me? In love?" The new yorker laughed. "No, baby, I'm just messing around and having a good time." She raised her eyebrows playfully. "I don't kiss and tell."

Gina's eyebrows went up at the word love. "In love?" She snorted softly, "No, I've never been in love." She shook her head thinking about it, "I have feelings, strong feelings, for Troy, but I don't know how to classify them. I just know that it drives me nuts when he talks about people at the club flirting with him." She tilted her head to the side, "I've had guys tell me they loved me, but I have never said the words back to any of them." Hell, the first time she had ever admitted to having feelings for a guy was last night, with Troy. "Have you ever been in love ( ... )

"I thought that." Anne said. "Oh, so you're quiet a heartbreaker." She chuckled softly. "Yes, darling, I have. I have been madly in love, I have had my heart broken, I have had summer loves, and I broke a heart too."

"I don't know. I have my eyes in many people at the same time, normally." The brunette laughed. "Imagine? You probably already know all about it." She rolled her eyes. It was not like she was ashamed nor anything. One doesn't get to be in a threesome everyday.

"Sure thing." Anne replied, following her friend.

Gina sat down in the chair to get her pedicure and then looked over at Anne, "Heartbreaker? No, I don't think so. I doubt the guys were in love with me as much as they were in love with the idea of the money my family had." She shook her head, the one thing her parents had never tried to get her to do was tell a guy she loved them, and for that she was grateful, even her ex fiance she had never told him. "You on the other hand, yeah, I can see you out there breaking hearts."

She winked at Anne, "Oh, I don't know details, thank god, but I know what happened." It had happened in her bed, so of course she knew.

Looking down she smiled at the girl who was in the process of getting her feet ready for a soaking and all that good manicure stuff.

"There's always a bad side about being filthy rich." Anne stated seriously as she sat on the chair. "Can you see me doing that?" She laughed, amusing herself with the idea. It wasn't her fault that people often seemed to fall in love with her. "I don't know if I should be offended by that or not."

"I guess I shouldn't drink this much anytime soon, right?" Anne joked.

"Yeah, more bad then good, I believe," Gina replied, making a face. "Oh, but of course. Don't take it wrong, though. You're a beautiful lady, who wouldn't fall in love with you?" She smiled, then she remembered that Anne went kind of both ways, and so hoped the girl didn't think she was hitting on her. OH well.

The lady that was doing her tootsies was trying to keep from giggling a smirk on her face, and Gina just smiled at her. She thought it grand that she could entertain the lady. "Well, I think next time you might want to at least slow down on the drinking," she joked back with Anne.

Anne laughed freely. "Nope, don't even try to fix it, darling. You already said it." She laughed even more. "Well, not my fault people fall in love with me." She rolled her eyes, smiling. The new yorker hadn't really taken that as a come on nor anything like that; Gina was far too young for her and they had no sexual chemistry at all.

Anne smiled at the women taking care of their feet briefly, looking back at Gina afterwards. Lifting one eyebrow, she teased. "I wasn't the only one drinking it heavy, for what I remember."

Gina laughed, "I suppose it's not your fault. Fate can just be cruel, right?" She shook her head, smiling.

"Touche! I had my fair share," she chuckled. "I have to say that was an interesting night for us all, I guess. Not what I was expecting." The lady eventually finished with Gina's toes, which were now painted a bright red. She waited until Anne was done before they went to sit down at the table to get their pedi.

"True that." Anne agreed. "Fate's a bitch."

"Also true, for what I've heard." The older woman laughed. Her toes were painted in a very discreet shade of pink when she followed Gina to get her pedi. "What else is going on in your life?"

Gina raised an eyebrow, "From what you have heard?" She had no idea what the girl was talking about and so just shook her head. She sat at the manicure table I know I said pedi earlier, had a jfkd moment and watched as the lady stared cleaning the nails and shaping and buffing them. "There really isn't anything else, it's been rather quiet. I haven't heard a peep from anyone in New York, so I guess things are good. Or this is the calm before the storm. What about you?"
