Bryce was so confused as to why he had 'needed' to go out shopping for a new outfit. He was quite content with his current selection of clothes, but he figured that he shouldn't question Bella.

After work, he set off to Barney's to pick out a new outfit. Once he got to the store, his love for shopping came back. It'd been a while since he'd shopped and picking out an outfit was a lot harder than he thought. There were so many things that he wanted to get, but he knew that he was on a budget. These were the times that he wished he was a successful actor, where money wouldn't have been much of an issue.

Once he finished, he went back home. He was ready to relax for a bit. So, when he entered his apartment, the last thing he expected was to have a handful of people yell "Surprise!" He stayed at the door, a bit shocked by everyone, but pleased that someone would do this. Immediately, he figured that this was Bella's doing.

Bella left the bedroom just in time to head out into the living room right as Bryce entered the building. She yelled surprise with everyone else and then bounced over towards him with a big grin, "Happy Birthday!!" She threw her arms around him to give him a hug and then stepped back, "Like the surprise?"

"I should have suspected something when you were telling me to go shopping," he said with a laugh, after hugging the girl. "And yes...I do like it. Just wish I had some sort of heads up...so I wouldn't be in my work clothes still." He smirked at Bella, and then looked at the crowd. He recognized some people, but didn't really know too many.

"I'm gonna change into something a big more flattering, and then we can party, okay?"

"Hey, you went out to buy a new outfit, I don't know why you didn't just wear that home," Bella teased him with a smile as she hit him playfully, "Okay, go change and then come back out. There's some presents in the kitchen for you and lots of food and drinks."

Bryce quickly went to his room and changed into his new clothes. What better time to show it off? Making sure that he looked good, he put on a small bit of cologne, and exited his room, a bit excited by everything.

He found Bella and got her attention. "Okay...so, what's going on, now?"

Bella turned around and gave a smile and a small shrug, "Um, not really. Just food, music, drinks, and mingling. I don't really have too much planned for tonight."

"Okay, well, I'm gonna go around and thank everyone for showing up. Besides, I see my boyfriend. I'm pretty sure that he wants to talk to me as soon as he can." Bryce smiled, and began to walk away. It was a bit intimidating that he didn't know everyone, but he'd just have to introduce himself.

"Ok, well just let me know when you want cake," She said with a grin. Her favorite part about birthday parties was the cake and the singing.
