Two Peas in a Pod
You want to know something weird. My five-year-old boy is writing fanfiction! I mean seriously.
This morning, I asked him what he wanted to do for summer (swim, camping, etc). He said that he wanted to work on his book. And I said, “Me too!” And then he showed me the loose pieces of computer paper detailing the adventures of Super Mario Brothers, nicely drawn with bold point pen, crayon, and highlighter. Then I showed him my stuff on the computer... Well. He wasn’t too impressed with that, but we’re like two peas in a pod! I’ll be helping him write sentences, and he’ll be… he’ll be useless because he can hardly remember to write letters correctly . But we’ll definitely be having a lot of fun this summer!
