Fellow Readers And Writers
So I have a quick question for ya all, and I'd really appreshate yer guy's take on it. Even just a short word or two anwser.
So I'm new in two fandoms, Tin Man and Die Hard 4 (aka: Live Free Or Die Hard). I've posted one fic in each fandom this week ( Token and Potatoes: Thanksgiving In Three Acts), and in each I also have another finished fic ready to go or almost. In DH4 I have a 1,000 word story totaly betaed and ready, for Tin Man I have a 2,400 word fic that's been betaed by one person, and I'm just waiting on my second beta to see what her take is on it and if she catches anything else we missed or that needs clairifcation.
So my question to you all is this: How long should I wait before posting the second story in each fandom? I don't want to seem spamey, or to give the impression that so many badfic writers do, of churting out a bunch of stuff at once, and throwing it on-line not careing about the quality, just trying to ride the high for as long as it goes.
So what do you think? Post when stuff is done? Wait a week? Wait a few days? What do you guys do, or what do you guys think when you see new writers and their posting habits.
