Dear DSSS Santa...
This is probably going to be my only Holiday Fest this year, so I figured I'd write my letter for it.
First, I wanna apologize to whomever got me, you caught me (when I filled out the application an requests) in a ridiculously 'shippy mood. I've been working on a crochet baby blanket for my new niece (see previous posts to see how absolutely, ridiculously adorable she is), and so watching a lot of movies while I do it. Aaaand so I've been watching a lot of classic Disney movies, and Victor/Victoria, and The Princess Bride, and Arsenic And Old Lace, and His Girl Friday, and all these great romantic movies....and so that's put me in a HRADP mode that's hard to brake from. (and bonus points if you know what HRADP stands for...)
So normally I'd have thrown in a few gen characters or suggestions for you to have the option of working with, too. But, as I said...sorry. Hope I didn't make it too tough on you.
I really, really am an OPTer, and F/K is my OTP. Even if you don't write that ship, please don't brake them up. Even if they're just not together, that's fine, just don't have the story feature F/V or V/K or something instead.
I put Frannie/Welsh as my second choice, and you can really go anywhere with that. There's such a little fanbase that you have a world of options on how you wanna play it. I love AUs, I love first times, and these guys play very nicely into UST and pre-ship and that's good too.
I'm really pretty easy going, I have a few squicks, but I think I covered them in the "will NOT do/do NOT like" section, things like Incest, Embarrassment/Humiliation, Non-Con, all are no goes for me, please. I'd prefer not partner betrayal, though, but mostly because it just dosen't make sense in this series. It really dosen't.
I love most of the secondary characters, too, so feel free to follow them or tell it from their POV. Huey is Love! Turnbull is Love! Dief is extra super-duper Love! The only person I really don't care for is Stella, because I still haven't forgiven that bitch for how she hurt Ray. And I'm not the biggest fan of RayV, love him, but don't always trust him. But he's an integral part of the show, so I don't mind him in a story, either, and he's Ben's best friend (one of two, of course), so don't feel the need to freeze him out or something. Just no hot 'n heavy make out sessions with Ben (or Ray, thank you, please). ::winks::
I really, really am an easy going reader, as long as you don't brake up my OTP, I'll go pretty much anywhere with ya. I love, love, love happy endings, but whatever hell they have to go though to get there? Also love. Feel free to put them though the works if you want, first. As long as the majority is happy at the end (or at least really realy really hopeful), then I'm good with whatever happens first.
I am incredibly excited about this, and I can't wait to see what you come up with! Christmas seems so far away right now. Though that's probably a good thing because I am running absolutely blank on how to do my own story! ::LOL:: Whatever you come up with, I'm sure it's going to be stunning and I'll love you forever. {{{hugs to invisible, nameless, unknown fellow fan}}}
