That was a fun scene even if the next part of it isn't quite so much fun, but necessary.

I loved a one-liner from when Cal gets off the plane and approached the "security chokepoint" - made me laugh and is so appropriate.

A great book and I need to go re-read them both in sequence to make sure I haven't missed anything.

Heh. Aubrey's not having much fun here, but somehow I don't think Rory's seeing it from his POV. [cough/grin]

I'm re-reading HM for the first time in a long time, doing the print galleys, and there's a lot of stuff I've forgotten. [squint]

Long story but major abdominal surgery and am recovering at my daughter's home who has a husband that is a saint to have me here for so long and let me borrow his old laptop.
I miss my tower that does NOT have a over-sensitive touch pad.

Thanks, I'm glad you like him. :D A Hidden Magic is the first book, and yes, he's one of the main characters there. [nod] He and Paul come back in Emerging Magic. The third novel (which is about half done) is about Manny, and what he's doing while the rest of the team is up in Seattle.
