I just wanted to thank all who attended and contributed to the party saturday. You all pulled a fast one on me. I was completely oblivious to the whole thing. As Asja will agree I have been oblivious to many things in the last month or so. Since I started OBC and SERE things have been non stop. Even though SERE was the only remotely fun portion. The remaining weeks that lead up to graduation were a mixture of death by powerpoint, mission planning, and some pointless field time. Ahh fuck it. It was necessary. Flight school is over and I'm now a an actual Army Aviator and no longer a student.
I have been here for almost two years. I'm so very thankful to have met all of you. I've had a great time and have made many fond memories. Its no surprise that I spent only a handful of my weekends actually on Ft. Rucker. I lost count of the times I have made the commute to Montgomery but it seemed that when Friday would come I would be hauling ass trying to get there as soon as I could. Birthdays, House warmings, Holidays, and oh yes.....Dragon Con.(Hopefully we can make an appearance as Orgasmo in the future. With me as Choda Boy. I love the helmet) I can honestly say that I will be sad to leave. No worries though. I still have at least a month here and about 10 gallons of German beer in the fridge.
