Captain's Log, Stardate... 1
Sorry for the title, but I had to. (Homage to Duckman and Trek)
So its the night before the trip. T minus *random set of numbers* to Canada.
Its going to be a 5ish hour trip to Singapore, then a 17ish hour flight to Vancouver then a small 2 hour skip to Calgary...
It should be interesting, at least its business class...
Just for the record this is the furthest I will have ventured out of this time zone (daylight savings does not count!)
I have been all through this time zone and have only left it a few times, but those times were not significantly outside (+1, -1). So jetlag here I come :)
Also caught up with Shem today. Probably the last time I'll see him in person in this one horse town. We had a good long yarn about the ups and the downs of the past few months. We pretty much came to the same conclusions on the state of current affairs. Sadly it's not looking too good...
Next time I see him will likely be either in Nodnol or Malta.
Can't wait!
