new townhouse!
so, we are moving in the summer which means i get to paint, yaaaay. we found a townhouse inbetween my parent's house and polaris mall, which is a really good location for us. the townhouse has 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms upstairs, a laundry area upstairs(convenient, until it floods), lots of closet area upstairs, a 1/2 bath downstairs, a storage area inbetween the garage and kitchen, the garage in attached, more closets, then seperate kitchen, dining room, and living room. the living room also has a fireplace.
layout:
we need paint ideas. some pictures of our crap from the apt now:
this shows the desk kind of well, it has a black frame with glass. the other comp desk is also black with silver, so they kind of go together and would be put in a room together. you can also kind of see the table, it is black with a darker, reddish toned wood.
the color of the bedroom now:

fishtank:
kitchen. everything is red to go with the lime green walls(it does look good together, not at all christmasy). we have since gotten a new toaster oven and will get a new microwave. the microwave stand is a very dark, cherry wood color.
couch:
tv. hard to tell but the front is a shiney black.
tv stand:
the color of the bedding, but this can change, if need be.
ideally we want the master bedroom to just have the bed, two nightstands, a dresser, and maybe a chair or ottoman. not much more. the dresser we have now isn't come with us, so no need to worry about that the nightstands we could leave or take, doesn't matter, they were free. i might buy a cheap chair or ottoman for the room, but would wait until it was finish to pick one out. we want a bright blue in the room, does this seem like a good color for the bedroom?
the second bedroom, i have no idea what to do with it. i am thinking a cat room, so it can be painted whatever color. anything fun? we will probably just put some cat furniture in there(like cat trees), beds, litter boxes, etc. any ideas for what kind of stuff should be in the cat room? or do you have other ideas for the second bedroom?
we will probably use the dining room as a dining room/office, luckily the desks are black and the table is black and wood. we want the computers downstairs so its not like the other person is far away just because they are on their computer. this layout works for us now, so why change it?
the living room will obviously have the tv stand and the couch, the rest of the furniture all matches that. this is more of cozy, relaxing room, and i can never figure out what kind of color to put in there.
then the kitchen, i might just do green again though, because i love that color and it matches my stuff.. lol.
