Amazing explosions in North York. I got a picture of the second one, although nowhere near as good as the one already posted. The fireball was so bright I had to shield my eyes.

oh my. did the explosion wake you up? how did you know about it and took pictures? very scary, i hope people aren't hurt.

The first explosion woke me up... almost rocked me right out of bed. I was out on the balcony taking pics of the fire - I had no idea that was the source of the first explosion yet - when the second one happened.

you look close to the explosion. do you have to evacuate? i read on the star that the 401 is closed, along with the subway north of lawrence.

Nope, its a long way away. Im guessing around 4 miles or so. Yeah, 401 was closed for a long way. it was a really big deal!! Although the fire dept in the press conference played it down and said they`d dealt with explosions like this and even bigger before. Sounds like there wasnt a lot of damage outside that company other than broken windows.

jesus. that is horrifying, and beautiful.

all in all, I can honestly say I much prefer the moon and my beach house.
