[ Riku glared down at the carpet, bored and irritated. Yes, he had a scarf around his neck, yes, it was 90 degree weather--so what? The theatre freaks woe their black gear all the time, and no one bothered them. Why was he bothered? Of course, because he kept to himself and his best friends were in comas, they thought he might have something wrong

[ the face startles him, he straightens in his seat and narrows his eyes--but he realizes too soon that it couldn't be Roxas. he doesn't have that vibe. he nods yes out of habit, letting his head drop back down. ]

[tornvoice]

[ Riku shrugs in an offhand way; it's bugging him, sure, but he won't say it to a stranger. He can't say it, anyway. ]

[tornvoice]

[ ... er. he pauses, staring at his hand, realizing--well, shoot, he didn't bring his whiteboard. so he looks around, trying to see anything to write on--and he realizes that behind him, there's a board that writes out the therapy schedules for each student coming in. in a blank corner, he writes 'Riku' and puts a box around it, with an arrow pointing down at him. and then he shakes his hand. ]

[tornvoice]

[ he nods, lightly tugging the white scarf around his neck. he lets his other hand drop back to his side. ]

[tornvoice]

[ Riku looks at him, narrowing his eyes. he shakes his head. ]

[tornvoice]

[ and Riku mouths 'nothing' as well as he can, furrowed brows emphasizing that he isn't very happy at this turn of questions. ]

[tornvoice]

[ Riku gives him a dry thumbs down, the look on his face not impressed. ]

[tornvoice]

[ the hesitance delivered with that line makes Riku feel a little more than awkward. he nods. ]
