Had a very long weekend.
Went to see Gpa Thursday and then stopped by my mom's on the way back home. Mom was in one of her moods, which ended up upsetting Gma and she and I got into it that night. All's cool now.
Friday, I went to see HBP with Paula and Jessi. Jessi was entirely too young for the movie (it bored her and she spent the whole 3 hours telling me she was cold/hungry/thirsty/had to go potty/bored), but I had no choice but to bring her as mom didn't think it would be fair to take just Paula (who is a Harry Potter nut, just like her sis). All in all, I've had better times at the movies, but the film was still great.
Saturday I went car shopping with my Gma and my Uncle Paul (who is a bull dog when it comes to negotiations). We looked at almost every dealership in Pensacola, and settled on a Hyundai Elantra. Not my first pick of the day, but it wasn't my money and I still love the car. Uncle Paul negotiated the car down 3k from the asking price. It has a great warranty and I have a maintenance package for the next 3 years, which means I don't pay anything to get my car serviced for the next three years.
Ellie Mae (my car) is dark grey, four doors, and has keyless entry, cruise control, power windows and locks, a cd player and kick ass stereo system as well as a free 3 month subscription to xm radio. She's a cutie and I will post pics of me with her soon.
Sorry for the car ramble, but this is the first car I've ever owned that isn't on the brink of death. I'm beyond thrilled. And the gas rate is sooooooo much better than my truck's. (30-34 mpg versuses 13 mpg)
