Hurdles to overcome

Well, I think I can offically call myself athletic now. I have my first workout injury. While running last night, I took a sudden step sideways to avoid someone and ended up throwing my knee out of whack. While I tried to help it by wrapping it in an Ace bandage all day today for work...it got steadily more painful as the day went on. Got sent home about an hour earlier than I would've without the knee problems. Spent twenty minutes with it on ice to get the swelling down and now my prescription is to REST IT as much as possible. Mom came to pick me up and keep me from walking home tonight, and now I'm at her house so that I can take her to work in the morning and drive to work myself for my lunch shift rather than walk. This also means no workouts for a couple of days. Grrr. I hate having to put progress on hold.
