No no no! If you say 'Break a leg' it's a way of saying 'good luck'. Because if someone says 'good luck' it actually means that, according to Murphey's Law, everything that can go wrong will go wrong.

So people say 'break a leg' instead! ^^

^^;; I was really confused, too! Breaking a leg would be horrible but I guess if it's a good luck expression, that's okay. That's an odd custom, though.

I suppose it's common across languages to say things that really mean the opposite. Only this isn't sarcasm ... I agree, it's very strange.
