I'm opening it just a tad early, because I have to run and do some house-thingies. I am wait-listed for a bazaar this weekend - if I get in, I may not have time until Monday. Otherwise, I'm hopeful I'll have lots of creative input for this one! I've got 3 more stories to finish for my NotNoWriMo. :P

We haven't seen Draiden in a while, or Noithil (the time crystal repairman who 'rescued' the skycat).
I would definitely like to see some south-meets-north stories - we know that meeting is right on the horizon, and if you'd like details about who and where, I'm happy to give you the few that I've got established - without spoiling anything, I can say that Margaa, Diren and Malaamig will be at Itrelir soon - have you got a character there? How will they react to these new strangers?

I'd love to see more of Marli, the writer/editor/publisher/salesman for a low-priced gossip rag called Marli Knows.
Holiday decorations for houses, people, dogs, unicorns, etc. (We have not specified what kind of decorations people put on/in their houses for the new year, or for other holidays so far, so I think it's safe to be creative.) Remember, new year is in the spring.
A failed rescue attempt, followed by a happy (but unexpected) ending.
Title Prompts: Why Sand-Pig Is Such a Glutton Dancing Between Wind and Wave The Coat of a Stillborn Foal
Text Prompts: A lost weapon from Ancient times is found. Someone is stealing chunks from the Jungle Road. Fish are washing up dead on the beaches for no known reason.
I'll second the suggestion for more of the folks from "Say No To The Empire" and the organization behind them.
Her name is not on the tip of my tongue, but IIRC the mother of one of the major characters in Itrelir would be an excellent theoretician/designer, but the snow-unicorn rider culture doesn't really support that. When along the way does she encounter the southerners?
Ripple effects of the snow-unicorn riders showing up in the south -- not just on the people who met them directly, but on the people who heard about them, or saw the painting of Birka, or the popularity curve of teal as a fashion color, or ...
That people other than themselves exist in the world offers some long-term hope (on the genetic front if nothing else) to the snow-unicorn riders. Are there short-term useful things the explorers can offer?

I would also very much like to see these characters again: http://www.tornworld.net/storypageview.php?id=120
