Next week, we're test-driving a new kind of Muse Fusion. Our basic method of asking for prompts and creating material has served us well for several years, but we're going to mix it up a little this time and see if we can't make it more fun for everyone and draw more folks in

You'll need to remind people that these should fit in a bingo square, so just a few words like "forged license" or "merging two age-sets." There won't be room for the way we sometimes give prompts that are several sentences of plot or characterization.

I will make a point of clarifying what kinds of prompts we'll need when I post those calls, that's a good reminder!

I plan to randomize the prompters using a number generator, then filling in one from each of them (also by random selection), then going back to the top of the list and starting again until the squares are filled. I looked at the random card generator, and it is nifty, but won't be able to be as specific as we need it to be.

You may donate something to specific stretch goals, which will scale for activity! For example, you could donate the sponsorship of one poem for the first round, and a second sponsorship for a prompter if we get four or more creators, then if we get to the five-plus blackout, double those prizes. Would that work? Just let me know if you'd want it to be selected pieces, or if you'd want to leave it to the winner to pick one. (And if you get your own prize, naturally, I will trade you for another.)

Howbout this:

One participant -- unlock a poem up to 25 lines, chosen by the creator.
Two participants -- unlock a poem up to 40 lines, chosen by the creator.
Three participants -- unlock a poem up to 60 lines, chosen by the prompter.
Four participants -- unlock an epic poem, chosen by the prompter.
Five+ blackout -- unlock a myth up to 1000 words, chosen by the creator.

I'm having some trouble figuring out how to administrate these - prompters don't otherwise get prizes unless we get to four participants, according to what I've posted, and I would have to post some kind of alternate prize in squares in case we don't have x number of participants. (And by participants, you mean creators, not just prompters, right

That's a much better idea, seeing as we don't have other group prizes yet.

Agreed.

"I'd request that you pick your favorite 10 from each of the goals we made, and we'd run a poll for a week after the Muse Fusion closed."

Too many; that will cause choice paralysis and/or spread out the votes too far. 3-5 items would work better.
