This weekend was pretty damn awesome. When is a fencing weekend NOT awesome?? Totally cool.

Anyways, so Saturday Ida and I got up at like... 6am and went to the fencing meet. It was too early, haha. Then, we paid and warmed up and stuff for the fencing that day. And said hi to our fellow club members who were arriving. Then, we fencing a bunch (in the Junior agegroup... the one above our own: 17 and older) and I did pretty good to say so myself. Better than I ever have done before. I got an index of -4, which isn't good, but is the highest I've ever gotten. And I came in 8th place out of 16 so that was good. Ida came third and got a metal (yippeeeee!!) Then we talked to these guys from Odense fencing club, and they were really, really cool and nice. They live in the middle of nowhere. I'm not kidding. They all live in different towns, but they're lucky if they have a supermarket. It is more common for people there to get a tractor license than an actual drivers license. We talked to them for the rest of the day. Which was basically from 1pm to 9:30pm. So yea. We also talked a little to these two girls from Aarhus, who were really nice. Here's a description of the guys we talked to:
Jens: shoulder-length hair, really crazyand hyper, really funny, good taste in music, plays drums and a little guitar
Joachim: the "nice guy", very tall, really reminded me of Krist Novoselic, funny, has major crush on Ida (hahahaha)
Adam: Really long hair, hates Christania (bad thing), good taste in music, kinda quiet but really into politics
Lasse: friends with Nicholaj from our club, kinda geeky but funny too, loves physics, good taste in music
Peter: tag-alon annoying little kid

I didn't talk as much as I should have and none of them really know anything about me, but oh well. We were gonna talk on Sunday, but it snowed so much they had to go home early.

When Ida and I got home to my house, we watched disney movies and fell asleep from exhaustion (it was past midnight).

On sunday, we competed in Kadet, our own agegroup. And I came 6th, and Ida won!!!! YAAAAAAAAAY!!! I was so happy for her. We also competed team, where we found some random girl and asked her to fence with us, so we had a fully team. And we came second!!!! And I got my first fencing medal, hehe.

We did well and it was so much fun, and I saw the guy from my school, Thomas, who fences at the meet. I was too shy to walk up to him and start a conversation. But I'll try when I get back to school.

I'm still tired and I have a week off now and it's nice.
