(no subject)
so yeah its been a long time since my last post. A lot has happened. Everything on that huge itenerary I had posted went well. Lots of k0ol things happened. Jens been hom a lot from school (more on that later) and Jon came back from basic. Its good to have him home. Lots of oher stuff.
Joshua revolution rocked my socks off.
Harvey Carrey is such an awesome speaker. Check him out if you ever get the chance. During his "sermon" or whatever I was on my feet the whole time. I couldnt help but stand. It was awesome.
Ahh yes...the escalator saga begins.
: There once was a girl named Jen. A very outgoing and beautiful young lass who sometimes got ahead of herself...er fell behind of herself...errr....(im gonna get hit even though its not ment to be offensive). She had her occasional ditzy spell as do most girls now and then. She had her clueless moments as well. Deep down she had the secret desire of running up...yes running up and up and up and up an escalator going down. Never till this cold wednesday evening did she ever get that opporunity to run up and up and up and up an escalator going down. Finally her quest drew to a close. Her opportunity became a reality. Along with her band of many odd and unlikely heroes...i mean adventurers (i dont know if they could save themselves let alone be heroes to anyone else), she went looking for food. Her band of allies were vamished and hadnt eaten in many hours. And she too was hungry and decided to aid them in their search for sustenance. Before anyone could realize it, there in front of the weary warrior jen stood and escalator going down..down...down......and down...and (shut up!!!! we get the picture!!!)
Well ahem...yes an escalator going d..o..w..n..
The rest of her crew took the simple wide road often traveled. And in that same instant Jen decided to tame the beast!!! She began her stride up and up and up the escalator going down down down slow...than fast......she had almost reached the top when that big dumb escalator decided to play a bad joke and it tripped her...and then it BIT her with its big ugly teeth. Soon she was going down ...down .. down.....and (what did I say?!?!?!...knock it off!!!!) oh..right sorry. She was helpless. She was soon rescued by her fellow adventurers....thus marking the success of jen going up the escalator going down down down...and the success of her fellow adventurers finally saving someone!...to this day, if any of you is blessed enough to take a look, you'll see that the scars still remain on her knee from where the escalator going...down down down bit her........but alas in the end all were triumphant......
...oh youre still here?...ahh the quest for sustenance......they never found any...they had to go back to the hotel and order it! but that is a story for another time mwahahahaha!

now that that is out of the way.
I am now on my own quest. A quest to find a new job. The Sub shop shut down on new years...poor michael hadnt made a single penny on that place since he opened it early in 2003. He said hes never had such an awesome crew, especially me and jim. Ill miss workin there, and Ill m iss the food (it was good) and Ill miss the people. But its a new chapter now. I hope everything works out....especially seeing that my mom lost her job as well. So much crap.
So back to being a single poor boy with just a license, guitar, and a God who gave up everything for me.
what could be better than that....well being a not so single, employed boy with all the other stuff....
well then again im not so sure the single thing is so bad. Less to stress about.
