Over at Metal Sucks they are having a celebration of Layne Staley’s music. Honestly I was really sad when I first hear of Layne Staley’s death and really annoyed that the media just ignored it. I guess the girl Left Eye from TLC was more important( she died around the same time). Yes any death is sad, especially when two people as young as Left Eye and Layne Staley die and you really can’t say that one life is worth more than another…BUT I do feel that Layne’s contribution to the music industry was more important and his death deserved more attention. Nobody cares about TLC anymore, but bands are STILL trying and failing at being Alice In Chains..So if you love AIC go click the link and check it out.
