One of my Happiest Days EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Today I sat through hours of an orientation...so tired....but whatever xD! My friend gave me the stuff I asked him hahaha!!!!! Guess what he got me????? That's right!!!!! The doujin collection by Kurot >w
And I also got the shugo chara artbook!!!! Finally after years of waiting lol...more like 2 years. But yeah, I got it cuz of amuto and peach-pit's art is sooo pretty and unique ^ ^.

Speaking of shugo chara the last chapter left me thinking, "what was all that chasing after the embryo and stopping easter for? NOTHING!?" Seriously...it was like watching the ending for 07-Ghost...the ending was kinda lame and unsatisfying after all of those years and arcs.....I started following shugo chara from the year 2007 till 2010 so about three years? But...at the same time you can't except endings to be satisfying (cough inuyasha, ouran anime, 07-ghost anime again, tales of vesperia xbox, and many many more....). Gintama was right about most shounen anime endings where they end with "let's continue our journey and more forward!" sorry I have to mention they used that example from d.grayman. Maybe I expect too much and then it becomes a let-down? I guess the main point of following through a story is enjoying the moments, the plotlines/arcs, character development and the lessons/messages that the author(s) are trying to tell the reader(I know that ppl are thinking "what lessons are they exactly teaching? reborn is all about bl fanservice jk. "). Peach-pit did stick with the moral they mentioned in the beginning of the series and ended it with the same moral like what teachers taught us to do when writing an essay-return to what you introduce in the conclusion of your work. Hope that didn't spoil anything....At least Peach-pit is continuing with "an encore" where they give the full stories about every character (I hope they make amuto official..yes that was basically what I was rooting for! ewww to amutadase).
And time for my review of this week's reborn and gintama xD!
First I'll start with reborn 166. I waited for 2 weeks since it didn't show during new years T___ (same with gintama lol-darn those naruto movie showings). And of course they start with the usual recap that wastes like 5 min. Then the annoying kyoko and haru pitying/getting upset stuff happening where they go " I didn't realize the guys were going through such tough ordeals." Do they even try to understand Tsuna's feelings at all? He's carrying everyone's burden's and troubles while trying to protect them. I'm starting to appreciate how Tsuna can handle all of the stress/conflicts that come up while worrying about the safety of everyone. And then one by one like the domino effect everyone gets beaten up to a pulp by each other due to all the anger and frustration built up over their training/haru+kyoko's riot. First yamamoto gets like half killed by his tutor squalo who "understands him the best" o__0(who gives a full tuna for a gift anyway?). In the manga squalo punched yamamoto so hard his tooth came out----obviously they edit that out in the anime. Next Ryohei punches Tsuna out of nowhere just cuz Ryohei didn't want Kyoko his sister to be involved in the vongola/mafia. AND OF COURSE Gokkun gets pissed since Juudaime got hurt (my fav part cuz he's always concerned about tsuna >////<). So, if Dino-san didn't hold 59-kun back I bet Ryohei would get punched to the extreme by Gokkun. Then FINALLLY they get their so called training semi-accomplished. Tsuna still hasn't opened his box weapon and was about to when..dun dun dun....ending credits....Yes cliffhanger for another week. But since I read the manga I already know what happens hahaha. The plus is the screencaps before the ending credits are a replica of the manga pics in the chapter. How cool is that?

Everyone looks so snazzy in their mafia suits~ Speaking of mafia suits, do u know why the mafia wear black? It's to cover up the blood. I read that in a 5927 doujin by cotton candy hehehe. In the last part where everyone is sitting down for a picture pose I was saying, "yes gokkun, you have to sit beside tsuna's right side" hehehehe >/////<. He does if you think of it as "Tsuna's right" rather then "our right".
Gintama 170 made me LOL and I havn't done that for pure comedy lately (been loling at gokkun's tactics). I think they had two reborn references or maybe i'm just being a crazied fan and just pretending they're references...1. Shinpachi says the boss cat is biting the other pets and uses a form of "kamikorosu"-hibari's catch phrase:I'll bite you to death. Yes that definitely was me being a rabid fan cuz kamikorosu can be used anywhere as long as the context is the same. 2. Gin says, "someone stick a dynamite up katsura's a**." When he said that I was thinking, "ask gokkun to do that" xD. I rmb reading a freetalk where a fan asks sorachi-sensei, "why can't your characters be as fashionable as Reborn! or D.Grayman characters?" LOL it was even in the viz translations xD. Another fan asked him for advice for drawing Naruto. Sorachi-sensei tells the reader to ask Kishimoto-sensei the creator of Naruto xDD. The part that made me laugh the most was when hijikata was mocking gin, katsura and kondo with mayonnaise when they were begging for food. Then he goes, "here" and squirts out mayonnaise for gin hahahahaha ^_~.

New ending for Gintama: Ending 16 Sayonara no Sora
My fav part is when Kagura grabs Gin-sensei's arm >///< awww so cute!!!! And I have no idea why Kamui is there???? Apparently this ending is to commerate the ending of the 3-Z novels...novels which I may never get to read -___-.

I love the original the best. The lyrics reflect the main theme of the game-Discovering the Strength to Protect while the english one is all about love -___-. Tales games always have touching/moral taglines/themes for their games ^ ^. The animation is pretty too~ I sense a battle b/w the asbel x sophie, asbel x cheria and the asbel x richard fans lol. And Richard are you gonna pull a Kratos/Chopin on me o__0???!!! The animators always put the main form of transportation in the end of every tales op.

They like putting the reaching hand thing in all of the openings lol. The animation team must like stained glass too cuz they have those stained glass disney princesses all of the time. And everytime I see Ven I think "Roxas" but then again who wouldn't? And is it wrong for me to think Aqua looks like Marth?! (or is it that marth looks like aqua xD). Oooh and the few secs in the end--->foreshadowing!
This trailer made me laugh cuz Ven is just too nice which ultimately causes a princess to eat a poison apple.
