A day on Granville Island

Jun 30, 2006 16:15

Today my father and I went to Granville Island to check out how the boat was doing. I was a bit upset because my registration for my classes is all messed up and I am on the mainland so I can't really do anything about it till I get back to Vic.
Anyway, I spent the morning siting on the boat reading this darn book I have to finish for school. I have about 100 pages and hope I get it done tonight. After my father finished up with signing all the papers for the boat, we went to the market. Here I finally got my birthday present and I was extremely happy!
My father bought me a beautiful silver and gold Native bracelet. The animal on it is a raven (so gorgeous). It made my day and I left the island content but also sunburnt. Oh well.
Becca and Mathieu are coming into at about 11pm I think, which is pretty exciting. My father and I bought Becca a bunch of chocolates, candles and soaps. I hope she likes them. She and Mathieu really deserve each other. I can't say I am envious of them, however, as I am not too keen on relationships right now. I imagine I never will be either.
