I know I haven't updated in a while, I haven't really had much need to.
On a more important note, however, I learned that the police in Greater Manchester in the UK are starting an anti-terrorism campaign.
Sure, great. Whatever.
The news story goes on to explain what to look for in suspicious activity, which range from not telling your neighbours where you go during a day, to paying cash for your homestead.
Here's the shocking part:
“You don’t have to be sure. If you suspect it, report it.”
That's the MOTTO of the campaign.
Enough of you on my list are nerds and geeks to the Nth degree (just like me :D) so hopefully you're seeing the parallels to the communist BS the Americans were pulling off several decades ago, and so very many books from so many great authors that have forwarned of a "Big Brother" type situation.
What the fuck, what the fuck, what the FUCK. What the fuck is wrong with humanity? My parents read Orwell and countless other works that showed all of this kind of bullshit. It was required reading for them. So why is the entire world getting blinded by the governments of the world, making them think all this paranoia is okay? Didn't they have to read the same books my parents read?
