11) Toris is incredibly stubborn, though he doesn’t seem like the type of person who would be. It takes heaven and earth to move him once he gets his mind set on something. It usually only when he’s trying to hide something and backed into a corner is when he’ll become immovable. If he can distract you, then he wins, use physically force and he’s doomed.
12) He doesn’t like animals…at all really. He got bitten by a dog when he was little, and it’s turned into a distrust of all animals. Dogs, cats, birds, it doesn’t matter. If given time, he’ll warm up to them, but usually he tries to avoid them at all costs.
13) When Toris gets angry, it’s best just to back off. And by angry, I mean furious and by furious, I mean downright scary. He does a complete 360 in his personality. It’s almost like a part of him shuts down completely, in other words, nice Toris take a vacation, and left in his place is Badass Toris. If it gets to this point, you know you’ve gone too far. Basically, don’t hurt anyone he loves, and you’ll be fine.
14) That said, Toris had a protective streak a mile long. He will jump through hell and high water to see that those he loves stay safe. It’s when he can’t do anything, and he knows he can’t do anything, that he lets his darker thoughts take over. He lives for and through others, if he can’t help them, then what is he here for?
15) He does not like physical contact much. Like most of his issues, it stems from the crash. He has a personal space preference, and only truly tolerates it from Raivis, Eduard, and Feliks (because he doesn’t have a choice). Though he has these boundaries set up, no one really respects them.
16) Toris is absolutely terrified by Ivan, and feels a great distrust towards him. Him being the Lithuanian’s past therapist does not help the situation whatsoever, he feels that Ivan intrudes on what he wants to keep locked up…because that’s exactly what he does.
17) Being left behind is one of his worst fears. If anything, Toris would rather be the one that leaves. His attachments are far and few in between. He will converse with you casually, but going any deeper into his life and his fears is strictly reserved for his cousins only, and barely even them.
SECRET: When he was 16 he and his friend went on a country ride, which turned into a joy ride. Neither of them were drunk or doing anything wrong, but a driver crashed into them and caused the friend to become paralyzed from the waist down and scars from whiplash and being cut out of the car for Liet. He doesn’t tell anyone, because this is a chance to be someone different, and he doesn’t want to ruin it.
