Yay for going home early, $200 certificate, and new locker!!!

boo for blind people! wtf? But don't feel bad. It happens to other non-white people too. There is this acquaintance of mine who always thinks my sister is me when we don't look that much alike. There is a family resemblance for sure, but you know my sis has short hair and no glasses. I have VIOLET and PINK hair and has glasses. It's like freaking obvious!

Also when you look for massage technique, avoid "deep tissue" as it is a sign of people who are looking to make huge amount of cash who don't know what they are doing. They just mash people really hard. Look for actual techniques like "myo-fascial release" or "trigger point". If those don't help you you can try more active massages where you participate more like "Critz" and "Thai Yoga Massage" where you will stretch or move with the therapist. I also like "shiatsu".

Also avoid chain places like Massage envy because they only pay their people like $8-$12 an hour when they do a massage and like $3 an hour to play receptionist. :(

shit! now I feel bad about signup at massage envy. They happened to be 100% better than the first dump I went to. The massage therapist took out most of the kinks in my back and neck and I was satisfied with the service so I tipped him well and signed up for short term contract with them. I anticipate I'll be going there regularly now that my trainer is bent on getting me some body definition/toning -__-;;;
the massage therapist stated that I had a lot of tension and spasm in my back and between the shoulder blade which I CAN definitely Feel when I'm at work sitting down typing *grrr* I HATE all this documenting that comes with medicine -__-;; ; Studies show doctors spend 70% documenting and only 30% taking care of actual patient and this all thank to the shitty medical legal environment we have in this country.

Anyways, now I know that I'll have to atleast tip my massage therapist everytime I go. $12 an hour for what he does is ridiculous. He definitely worth more than that geez!
So looking forward to hanging out with you and I'm also definitely planning a trip for Austin this summer. I wanna try your massage person maybe even some accupuncture :)
