(no subject)
rahh i don't like updating very much, but i will...
things have been pretty neutral within the past week and a half. it's nice to finally have things calmed down a bit.
i have been keeping busy with work, which i really enjoy. z'mariks has ended up being a much better job that i expected. monday we had a mandatory staff meeting, and we just sat down for a while and went over things that we need to improve on and such. our boss also gave everyone a free movie pass to century, score! work has also helped me stay busy, which is something i really need right now. i know my manager is thrilled to have me working so much because he really needs the extra help.
tuesday night i went up to ames and spent the evening with courtney. because her roommate hadn't arrived yet, i was able to sleep on the extra mattress in her dorm. we drove around ames for a little while, i got a taco, and we rented a girly movie. we went back to her dorm room and attempted to watch it, but we just talked and stuff instead. then adam came over and the three of us chatted in courtney's dorm for a few hours. all in all, it was a fun night. it got me really anxious..but excited!!
speaking of college stuff, i have been in the process of filling out my ISU application for the past week or so. although i'm like 99% sure i'll be accepted, it's still pretty nerve-racking. i will be sad to leave my mom...i love that woman. she's the nicest person ever.
i really want school to start. i'm eager to get started on my goals, and also to be busy and occupied.
