Some goodness
Hello again.. this post won't be related to fandom again
well, I received 2 good news in two consecutive days =)) GOD IS REALLY GOOD.
the first one is this.. There's this newly formed foundation in the company where my mom is working and the dependents of managers and officers have a chance to be given a scholarship =) i had been interviewed 2 weeks ago and the day before tomorrow, my mom called me to say that i have to get an assessment form in my university. I asked her, "for what? was I chosen as one of the scholars?" and fortunately, she said that I got the scholarship =) YEY!!!
it's a full-scholarship + payment for books. it's really a big help for my parents considering that I'm studying in a private university and my tuition fee is not that cheap..
then the other one.. Two weeks ago, I took a certificate exam to be a certified bookkeeper. It's not required for us to take that but I tried because i think that it would help me in the future.. The exam covered accounting 1 and we were required to know how to journalize, make financial statements, make trial balance and the likes. The sad thing is that in my university, we don't focus on those things (we don't focus but we still tackled it). We are being trained for the Certified Public Accountant board exam so our exams in accounting are all about finding the amounts. Luckily, I took Accounting 1 when I was still in High School and there, we are trained to do the accounting process =)) I just need to review and refresh my memory about those things..
The exam had 7 cases, 6 of those were problem solving and 1 essay type. the set that I got required me to do trial balance. Adjusting entry was included too and a little of bank reconciliation. Journal entries for perpetual inventory system was also asked..
There. That's what i remembered
and the results was posted yesterday. YES, I PASSED THE EXAM.. yey!!
and I am done with my internship. i just need to pass some documents to my supervisor
