A tree grows in the elementary office, and other nature tales

There were two dead cockroaches in school on Thursday. And plants growing out of cracks in the elementary school office floor. One teacher found a nest of free-range mangy cats in front of her room. I have mosquitos in mine. And they bite me. And it hurts. And itches. And the little bastards don’t just hang out and enjoy their meal so you can at least slap them while they are eating you. No, these little buggers have some kind of self-preservation complex that kicks in and causes them to fly away whenever you move. I really just wonder what all these creatures have against zoos?
