Well, it's been a productive last couple of days for me. I've set myself some challenges that I'm looking forward to tackling.
Challenge 1:
I've joined a biggest loser competition at work. The grand prize is about 300 bucks. No too shabby. And since my middle name is officially "Give me more money", I think it will work. My goal over the next 10 weeks is to give myself a monetary goal to reach for to lose the last 20 pounds or so I need to be at my goal and work on my sexy six pack for Cancun (viva la Mexico!).
I used to be ashamed of my weight and would NEVER consider posting my progress and successes online. I'm finally to a point where I feel comfortable doing just that. Here's the short and skinny (insert sound of symbol crash here) of it.
Original weight: 202 lbs (geesh! I don't know where I put it all either)
Lowest weight: 150 lbs (sigh, to be there again!)
Current weight: 156.4 lbs (as of today, and post Gencon...not terribly bad)
Goal weight: 135 lbs (this is my doctor recommended weight. I haven't been there since high school)
I intend to post my progress over the next ten weeks, if for nothing else to actually write down my successes and failures. I'm hoping it will work in my favor, instead of against me. We'll see!
Challenge 2:
I'm in the beginning stages of brainstorming a new game I'm hoping will go somewhere. I'm collaborating with much smarter people than myself to get this thing off the ground and running. Hopefully, when I have something a bit more solid, I'll post on it. I'm really excited about the ideas I'm having and working up with my fellow conspirator. More to come on this soon.....
I had something else, but post workout and post protein drink, it has floated away. I'm sure I'm remember it much later.
