Of Modern Technology...
Let me set the scene for you:
My MP3 player has about 7 albums currently on it, and I'm sick to the back teeth of hearing the same tracks over again.
My laptop was sent out for repair last week and won't be back until Sunday.
I decide that, despite this, I must convert my CDs to MP3s to put on my gadget (thankfully, this is no obstacle space-wise, as it's a 32GB).
So...
I'm sat at the kichen table, on a 10.5" HP Netbook, with an external CD drive, ripping all of my CDs onto the computer.
It is taking FOREVER!
I am also made aware of two facts:
1. I own an insane amount of CDs...must have spent a damned fortune over the years, and
2. I don't half listen to some crap!
Can't wait to try ancabell 's music/poetry meme! :D
