Latest obsession
(and there have been QUITE a few of them, lately!)
Lefkada, Greece. Alex's family owns a hotel there, so it has been pretty much decided that we will go pay it a visit someday. It looks like a nice little island, and it would be so cool to explore and relax there. I also am captivated by the idea of perhaps renting a moped? But maybe that's all the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants talking.
Other obsessions in the past few (what, only 2 weeks or so? Ha.) include:
Scrapbooking
The Sims 3
Bengal Cats
Cats
Humane Societies and Rescue operations
Goldfish
Bengal cats again
Scrapbooking again
Cheese and crackers
MOVIES (DC has ruined me!)
Wedding things (it is consuming my LIFE.) Well, not really. For being a maid of honor and bridesmaid, I'd say I'm managing quite well.
My class went very well last week, and I even managed to almost get my take-home exam done later on the day of our in-class ID-ing exam. (Must go pick it up to see my score!) Josh was visiting and wanted company in the internet cafe across the street, so I dragged my butt over there and got quite a bit done! I don't really think we've spent all that much time together, alone, before, and it was pretty enjoyable, I must say. I just have a few more questions and then I'm done! And it's not even due till next week Tuesday. :)
I've been watching a ton of movies, too, relative to my time previous to Australia, because everyone knows that's pretty much all I did there, haha. Have re-watched a bunch, but have also newly seen all of Interview with the Vampire, The Omen, followed shortly by Little Women to create good feelings in the aftermath of The Omen..., Marley & Me, and some others, I'm sure. I have been taking them out from the little library RaeChel has in her room--quite convenient! Maybe I will work out a payment system?
Classes start next week, and I have to work out when I will do project and paid work with my professor. This weekend is RaeChel's birthday, and I'm really excited to go out with her and friends! I also want to go out for my birthday next week. I want to try new drinks.
I hope to pick up my things for Dasha's wedding any day now, and am eager to see how the dress and shoes work together. I am also anxious to get my dress for Jessica's wedding, but I have NO idea when that will be!
Tomorrow I move more things back to the apartment from home with the parents. I think that's all for now--I'm excited for the weekend!
