Joining in on the "this week is hell" thread...
Naw, I wouldn't go THAT far... I'll save that for next week. But this week isn't great either.
Everything seems to be coming all at once. I have an exam tomorrow for entomology in which I need to know God knows how many orders of insects, a paper due Thursday, and a presentation to give on Thursday. In addition, my collection is due at the end of the month, AND I DON'T THINK I HAVE ENOUGH BUGS!!! If anyone finds any, PLEASE just put them in a bag and freeze them, if you can!! I'd be much obliged, and could even make you cookies! But wait. I am not allowed to freak out until I officially have them all pinned and counted. I'm trying to work on it now... but it's just so daunting. :(
I feel like I should have enough orders of insects. I need 10 adult orders. We will see soon if that's true. Aside from that and the immature requirement, I just need 75 total, and 35 identified to family. Perhaps the 75 can be made up in sheer numbers of multiples, but I know the specimens can't all be the same. So minor differences would be good? Many things to ask the professor, I see. But yes, bugs are nice and I will love you forever if you catch some for me!!
Anyway. Next week I have 3 exams. I don't even want to go there yet.
But, there will be fun times too, I suspect! Seth has rented Sims 2: Castaways, which I'm sure I will be able to squeeze in! And perhaps dinner with friends on Friday, insect collecting at some point (yeah, it's homework, but it's still fun), and Alex is coming to visit this weekend, with possible gaming and movie-watching.
I'm excited for enrollment. I think I have a pretty good schedule lined up for next year. I just hope it all works out!! I'm also excited for Thanksgiving! After next week I can kind of relax a bit before finals. I'll get to see my family and spend Thanksgiving with Alex. Hm. Serious? Yes. :)
Furthermore, I am starting to LOVE our house. At least, the kitchen and my room. I believe it came from putting work into these rooms, as I noticed the feeling of LOVE after I added decorative shelves to my wall. So, painting up with hallway and living room will make it even better!
I also really like my friends.
