Hahahaha. Trees and grass? Wrong profession!

Speaking of which, I believe there is much to update on the subject. Some of you already know this stuff, too. Upon returning to work, I found that I had a "staff" of 4 people. I hadn't really thought that the pay raise meant a promotion or anything... it was a rough few days, as 2 of the people had been working already for a week, and so they knew their way around (I still needed my refresher course) while I, their "boss," didn't. The other 2 started working the same day I did. They lasted about a week. Let's just say they were idiots. It's one thing to not know the plants, I mean, come on. It's another to have absolutely NO common sense. As time went on, I discovered I had a title. (!) "Chief Order Processor." Nice, eh? And I suppose basically I was a foreman. At least that's what my old boss thought. Oh, another sucky thing- not working for Erin anymore. :(

So, me and my crew of two battled bravely on through the crazy busy weeks of annual season. We pulled some 12 hour work days, had some days where we worked through lunch... but now everything's slowing down again, and our day today went really slowly. And tomorrow may be their last day. But they don't know that yet. And I'm sure not telling them. MY boss can do that.

And there has been drama, oh yes there has. Turns out my girl went to my high school. And her ex-fiance is a screw off that went to our school as well, and whom I knew in middle school. She has hooked the entire woody pre-loading crew (yeah, laugh, I know you're immature :p ) into thinking she's this mysterious and intriguing thing. And caused the other pre-load foreman to break up with his girlfriend of 4 years (there were other issues too) and try to get together with her. Huh. That's what happens when there's no company policy against interbusiness dating!

Got to go to the zoo last weekend with Alex for his battalion picnic. So, we got to cross one item off our Things to Do Over Summer Vacation list. We had fun and got to see some baby apes, which were cute. And some naughty apes, too. Hmm...

This weekend I'm heading back to Madison for some Seth and Mark time, and gaming! :D I can't wait!

I guess that's all for now, other than the fact that I have to clean my bathroom and the guest room for some pop in family guests next week. :( Lame.
