Broken Embraces
I'm quickly developing a big gay crush on Pedro Almodovar. Broken Embraces was really fucking good. His stories are complex and beautiful and you fall in love with his characters. Well, except the bad guy. But even him you feel a little sorry for. Honestly, its really worth seeing. I don't know which of his movies I love more. But each one gets a richer feel. I can't wait to see what he pulls out of his hat next and I'll be waiting for it. He has such an eye all the way down to set design. *sigh*
I think one of the things I love is that he has this depth of taste that's like classic film noir with out being to homage-y, like a drag queens love of hollywood glamour without the rhinestones.
Ok, so he probably likes boys. It doesn't mean I can crush all over his movies.
