I built a playstand for my birdies over the last month, so now for the first time in years, they can be out and with me instead of exiled to my room! I just have to get past this independent streak my lovebird, Peachy, has and get him to quit trying to visit the budgie, although it's going much better now that Mauki's down here too. I had really thought they'd be afraid of the scary branches and toys, but Peach didn't even care, and Mauki stepped onto it with some coaxing. Mauki's terrified of weird sounds, like the chair creaking, but she'll get over that with experience (I hope).
I keep meaning to write in this more often, I have for the whole summer. I do this thing, though, where I write posts in my head, during work or something, and then they never *actually* get written down. It's horrible. I have to get over that. Maybe start posting trivial things again, or something. Anyway, that's that.
