Jasper.
I haven't wrote in here forever. I have decided throughout th summer I'm going to write in here a few times a week to keep people updated. I got offered a job in Jasper, Alberta for the summer working at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge as a Room Attendant (better term for a maid), along with Sarah. As of now I'm kind of stressed about the whole thing but extremely excited at the same time. I originally was scheduled to start May 3rd. I e-mailed my boss to ask her if I could start May 10th along with Sarah, that way it's not as rushed for me with the ending of school along with trying to get everything organized. She didn't get back to me throughout the week so I assumed it was a no. I went ahead and booked my flight for May 3rd and two days later she contacts me saying I can start the 12th and fly out on the 10th. So as of now I'm running around trying to change my flight and my shuttle from the airport to the hotel. As soon as it's all figured out i'll be a lot less stressed and a lot more excited about the whole situation.
As for school it is fantastic. I love my program, people in my program, teachers in the program etc. I've made some good friends this year and am excited to start 2nd year. I've been told that Humber will soon be offered a B.A. in Journalism which is extremely exciting news. This way I won't have to switch schools to get my B.A. and can just continue at Humber for an extra year.
