Math majors: '.....uh, what?'

(That's not true. I get it enough to know that it's funny, I'm just a little unclear on the details.)

The boot sector is the bit at the beginning of your hard drive that tells it where to find little things like... the operating system.

.conf files are configuration files for X (the main linux window system). With a wrongly configured X system, you can't really display anything worthwhile... Not impossible to undo, but a pain in the ass.

As you no doubt know by now, xkcd is the cutest/funniest/sweetest/most sincere/most sarcastic webcomic out there. It's great.

What play? Who else is in it? What are you singing this year for pops?

Also, can you give me Zach Sethna's email address?

Don't know the email address, sorry. We're doing Hairspray mostly in choir, but I have the Magenta solo in our finale, Time Warp. And our play is "The Visit", a tragi-comedy. We perform the 16th and 17th (I'm the female lead). So all in all, busy time. But very cool. How goes life with you?

Could you do me a favor and ask him for his email address? I don't really have another way of contacting him.

AHHH TIME WARP!! That's exciting. Hooray for Hairspray also! That's really exciting and I'm sorry I can't be there.

Who wrote the Visit?
