Maple Leafs win their first game of the season!
Montreal - 3
Toronto - 4 (OT)
qicetrini and I went to the tail-gate party at the Air Canada Centre. Saw the game on the big screen set up outside with their deafeningly loud sound system. All in all it was an exciting game. Near the middle of the game it was a sobering 3-1 Montreal but the Leafs managed to get two more points before the end of the third period, and managed one more in overtime.
We also saw the first game of the season this past Wednesday at the Granite Brewery, also a pleasant experience with a few other Leafs fans around to appreciate the game.
I'm going to try to follow the hockey season more closely this year, at least as far as the Leafs are concerned.
