Okay, for serious, what is everyone's problem.   Seems like lately I've been hearing lots of people talk about how betrayed they felt when they discovered that the Chronicles of Narnia  have Christian elements.  Seriously, they say that: betrayed.  Like this was a wicked wicked trick perpetrated on them.

Yes, the books do have god elements.  SO WHAT?  The books are still enchanting escapes into another world.  They are still all the good things you initially liked.  If you liked Aslan then, why do you suddenly dislike him because you discover he was based on how CS Lewis experienced God?  The character remains unchanged, and no one was out to trick you.  Get. Over. It.

Seriously.  I don't see anyone moaning and complaining because other books have christian influences, and many others do.  What's their problem?  I mean, I know I'm extremely defensive of CS Lewis, but betrayal seems like a ridiculous overreaction
