Los Angeles update

So word is from Vaginal Davis' Blog that the Parlour Club, the venue where Vag's weekly club Bricktops is held is closing. Bricktops has certainly been a unique space -- one would hardly guess that it's in early 21st century West Hollywood, since it's nothing like what you would expect from WeHo -- it's more like the 1920s in Berlin, Paris or New York. There are a few more chances to check out this club night in its current venue -- while Bricktops may find a new home in the future, there's something really magical about its current incarnation.

Incidentally, the Parlour Club is also the venue where Club Chub has been held. They also do stuff at other venues, which will probably continue.

Anyway, I'm fortunate in that my band is going to play at Bricktops this week. Also, we have another gig coming upas well. Here's the details:
