I decided I loved him even before the show started, after reading that bit on the website about "hidden depths of anguish and darkness". There's a reason why it's our community sub-header: hilarious! What started off as an irrational allegiance, I'm glad to say, has become fully justified by the Ianto of this series.

He's amazing, I love him and I really 'get' him even though I don't understand him. I know that probably doesn't make any sense but it does in my head lol.

Ianto is the only character that I actually feel I can write successfully and I love him even more for that.

I don't care what anyone else says either, he always has the best lines, and he says them with a totally incredible panache.

"Everything" is a good answer? LOL! But it's true, I love everything about him, every episode more...
He can do everything well, he's snarky and damn good looking, mysterious, pretty emo and deep...

I'd have to say it's his calm, efficient way of handling everything that comes up with cool competency and a snarky comment. And the way that he's not afraid to show just how vulnerable he can be. I also love emo!Ianto, because you know that someone that controlled on a daily basis just has to have an overblown, passionate, intense side and emo!Ianto is where we get to see that.
