Why you should read it: Because it has the best damn strong Ianto and jealous Jack ever. No, really - neither of them are out of character, but the interpretation of them digs past the surface and into the meat of their characters, highlighting the cracks in their relationship and building it up stronger. Often, the monogamy of their relationship is tested by Jack - here, Ianto looks outside it, and it's Jack who finds this unacceptable. The fight, tension, and resolution are wonderful, and Ianto's dominance at the end is one of the few times I've read it and wholly bought it. nightanddaze is an incredible writer, intense but readable, character-driven but imaginatively evocative.
