Summary: The Hub is suddenly the Lost Property Office of time - which might be okay if half of the property didn't belong in a zoo.
Why you should read it: If I could just type 'LOL' here, I would! This story is sort of Tosh-centric, giving her lots of gadgets to play with and moments of awesome, but the whole team get equal time to play in this light-hearted, fun adventure - a typical day in Cardiff, working for Torchwood. It really reads like one of the novels, in a way. The writing style is a bit distant and works very well for exploring each of the separate characters, much like an actual episode. Owen is snide and snarky, but with that deep undercurrent of caring. Toshiko is determined and focused, yet still quietly dazzled by the wonders of the universe. Ianto is the king of the one-liners and especially smug, because, yes, he does know everything. Gwen's scene, without spoiling it for you, about half-way through is a brilliant bit of characterization. And Jack is Jack!
