Why you should read it: This is probably the most classic of Torchwood oneshots; it's gen, with a little Jack/Ianto thrown in on the side, and it is, by far, the best team-fic I have ever read. Owen is hysterical, and the whole premise is completely genius. Any fic that has a summary of "they pretend to be trees" and pulls it off without any crack whatsoever deserves high praise: that it is touching and funny as well puts it at the top of my, and a lot of other people's, rec lists.
